Upgrading or renovating your home can be very exciting yet very nerve wracking at the same time. At Skona our main priority is to make the process of upgrading your cabinets as smooth and easy as possible.
So what do you do to make sure you are ready for your first appointment?
Measure every room where you are planning to install new cabinets. Whenever we hear that a customer wants a large or small kitchen/closet that doesn’t tell us the real size. How large customers see one space, the other one may say it is small, etc. Make sure to bring the measurements with you to give us an idea of how much space we have to work with.
- Start with measuring.
- Pictures
- Feel free to make a list of questions you have.

Take pictures of your current space and tell us what you do and don’t like about it. Also bring some inspiration pictures with you. This will help us understand your likes and dislikes and what do you expect from the final product. Do you want your cabinets to be more neutral or do you want to make a statement? Bringing pictures also helps with providing a more accurate estimate for your project.
Upgrading or renovating your space is a serious decision so it’s normal to have questions and we are here to answer them. Since you chose SKONA to be your main “tool” in upgrading your cabinets we want to make sure that you are comfortable and that you know – you are in good hands.
